@MrDragonator ya you can put a flane up to the unstriped wire and waight till it starts smoking then pull it off i does no harm to the wire and it wirks great.

This is really cool! I am working on a design for an electromagnet gun using a (get this!?) electromagnet hooked up to a hi-end remote control car battery, a separate metal rod, a small PVC tube, and a rock.
