  • Hey Rooby (I still want to call you VeeBee). I'm there with you. I was terrified of getting diabetes or lung cancer and began to exercise. I went to the gym, gave up smoking, and began lifting weights. I've lost 55 lbs over the course of a year. I've lost a lot of weight, but it was a very slooow process that I've come to realize there isn't a quick fix. It's a lifelong life change that I now love. I'm not a vegan or a health nut, I just eat less and work out hard. I feel amazing. You can do it!

  • @trashywilma Well done you! You're right. Hard work and determination. I was at a high school for an open the day this week. When we were done it was break time so all the kids were out. I heard a group of older boys sniggering and giggling then a 'hah look this fat bitch' as I approached. I flipped em the bird and walked on but man I was crushed. :(

  • For a second I thought you had a cat in a fish tank there.....

  • Just remember what you said yourself. Just try to eat very small portions of whatever food you have at home.

  • @morbeck It's definitely the way to go. Tonight they family had pizza. I had chicken breast and salad. It was frickin' delicious :)

  • I get round this kind of thing by eating Jordans muslie..the one with no added anything...It's bloody filling and I just dont want to eat the crap others are eating after a bowl of that.

  • No fat Indians cos they sell it to everyone else lol.

  • Have a little bit and then go eat something healthy :)

  • It's better to lose weight slowly. When you lose weight too quickly there's more chance of putting it all back on again, plus more, as it messes up your metabolism. Also, reward meals are an important part of a weight loss diet. So I say enjoy that takeaway. If you're still losing a little weight every week and still managing to enjoy the takeaway at the weekend, Go for it!! nom nom nom nom!

  • @trashywilma The important thing is to grow to love your body. I'm still a long way from where I want to be, but my heart is strong, I have muscles, and I'm healthy. I'm learning to love my body. Anybody who doesn't is free not to look at it. :)

  • buy urself a sauna suit babes ,about £3 and wear it every morning to do the housework in xxx
