  • I'm glad I don't work on that piece of shit. How many years has it been since that deck has seen a needlegun? And those hot manifolds on the engine aren't very safe. Get you some water jacketed ones before you end up with some nasty 3rd degree burns.....

  • @txkingfisher hheey now....

    Shes a beaut!

Might be alittle rugged, and worn out But..

She gets the Job done, survives the seas, and does it with just a smidgeon of TLC. ;]

    5/8 lap-welded-plate hull, shes a safe boat!

Just gotta have some common sense too, and you don't get burned. ;]

  • Ty Oceanz! Would love to see some stuff from your neck of the woods. =]

Aye Kagome, Thats a Detroit V16. And your very right... ITs not very efficiant. even though its a natural engine. Doesnt have any turbo chargers.

Its there partly for the novalty, (since its used as a bow thruster in a 150ft tug) For the power. =]

  • @txkingfisher She was needled in 1991 so go take a shit.

  • I ran a boat with 2 v16-92s, then ran its sister with 2 v 16-71s, what a difrence between the two!

  • that is the world's crappiest speedboat. Is it canadian?

  • Sounds a lot like V8 detroit. Very interesting video!

  • the 16v71 was just two 8v71's bolted together...sweet

  • Is that a Detroit 16V71 powering that Z drive? It may not be that efficient but it sure sounds great!

  • That was great! thanks for posting that. I could watch this stuff all day and night, your from Canada? I was born in Ottawa and now live in Australia and have worked on quite a few vessels here but it's so good to see how the maritime industry works overseas.

    Great stuff!! Thanks.
