@BevHills I've heard that too! A gal I work with's daughter used to skate at the DSC and after Tara won Worlds, she came into the locker in the evening with some friends in street clothes, and her and her daughter were there, and Tara made some comment like "there are actually people here this late?" Sue wanted to say to her "yeah, some off us have jobs and not every parent can afford private tutoring"

Ya. My parents put me in it not knowing how much it costs and now they can't take me out! I would try and see what he options are because it's a great thing to get into! You can start her with a coach instead of group lessons. They are cheaper. I'm not rich and we find a way to do it!

Oh. They were friends for a long time though. Tara always seemed like she was nice though.

Spunkysk8er1997, I'm not sure what happened to her and Erin, but they stopped talking. They were like BFF then Tara wrote something on her website about being friends with people who were true and genuine. She claimed that SOI treated her bad too. I heard that she has problems keeping close friends.  It could be b/c she was a rich only child. Sometimes, it's hard for certain people not to be self-centered.
