In recent weeks, my daughter asked me if we had to love God more than ourselves, I told her:
"Absolutely not, sweetheart. I love you and your brother more than I can could ever love any God"

Thanks for the comment. Actually, I made a video response answering that very same question (called Votebots make little girls cry).

In all my videos I do not show dislike for believers (see Jack, the best Christian I know).

Holding your own personal beliefs in the name of love and respect is honorable but I hold in less regard those that diminish the value of humans and human rights all in the name of an unseen, unexistant and even yet-to-be-defined being.

I myself am a father and I would and still will do anything I can to make sure that my children minds are free from fear of some made up god that is going to hold then back from being the best humans they can be. I often tell my children that they can do anything they set there minds to, and when they do they always grab what they are reaching for.

My nephew goes to a lovely school where he is thought to keep his mind open to all beliefs, but to make his own mind up. When i went to school, if i didnt remember a line from the gospel on sunday, i got beat with a metre stick. Dont shove religion down a childs neck, and dont make them fear ANYTHING. Fair play, thumbs up and keep up the good work.
