The middle back-up is quite exquisite!

this song was recorded 1976. soooo ahead of its time. brilliant. timeless.

@1vettal2012 : now that I've written it?????

Geeze Kevin you sound like a very deep person . Write a book. Now herington can play the music exactly how the original recording sounded or with a personal twist I have seen him sevral times. Seems like the shows Have their own signature. As do all live performances. I'm so glad I get that.

This tune brings me to tears.....of joy.....

@regmoe : that's why you're an accountant....

@taildragger53 : it's clear from your 3 responses to my critiques, within 2 hours, that as you become more juiced/stoned whatever, you're ability to explain yourself diminishes exponentially.
However, I do endorse you're view on one's right to an opinion...qualified by the fact that there are two types of opinion: informed & uninformed.
Finally, I'd say the gr8 Islamic State of Iran maintains about the same level of democracy as the US of A..ever heard of the military industrial complex?

@kevinherbert You call me a sad sack! (LOL) Why don't you go and view some more of your porn clips on your ytube profile and leave the serious music comments to us on here.
-
@kevinherbert You tell me to loosen up and cool it and yet it looks like it's YOU who is getting abit hot under the collar.( ha ha!!)
It's a shame that just an ordinary blogger on here manages to push your buttons.
If i'm such a loser then WHY keep sending me obnoxious and pseudo-intellectual ramblings?
You need THERAPY mate! You should realise we ALL have our own opinions and are FREE to express them.
If you don't like it , go live in Iran!

@debbydoo2008 I agree with you entirely however there was a time during the 1960s and early 1970s when it was considered a good thing to dabble in drugs.
It "expanded ones mind" to dabble in LSD..reached areas of the subconscious.(not that i agree with this)
Similar to the 1930s-1950s when smoking tobacco was a "healthy" pastime.(consider those early smoking ads)
It is super tough to nail somebody elses guitar solo, so dont be to hard on John Herington.

Where was that classic ending, one of the greatest ever? You can't knock Jon Herrington though, an amazing player.
