Dear Sebastien, carry on! You show talent but it needs to be worked on. Listen to the great players performing this mazurka. You will certainly hear where you can improve. The Bach inventions could be your next step. Here also: listen carefully what others have achieved en then study these 15 little gems step by step. I am curious to hear your further results. Love from Benjamin.

Dear Benjamin, thank you for your kind comment. I would like to know what I could do to make the Mazurka sound more the way Chopin intended to. In the meantime, I will search the music from a CD, or some other site.
Kind regards,
Sebastien

Exactly the way Chopin meant the mazurkas to be played we can only guess, though we have a fair idea. This folkloristic Polish dance can vary from rather light-footed to downright sad.
Evgeny Kissin demonstrates this in a splendid performance. Look it up, enjoy en learn!

Thanks for advising. I will check on Evgeny Kissin videos. Until later.
