What would be some good sample cases for a new smoker? I haven't smoked too many cigars before and just want to get feel for what type of cigars I like.

Just had this today, and picked up several after i smoked it, it's one of my top 5 cigars in my cycle, it's a good chill cigar

I totally agree with your comments, very nice cigar.
Just bought myself a box, after purchasing the 4 cigar sample box.
Good value for it's quality, good tabacco, good roll but a little bit loose as you mention.
But totally enjoy the Maduro.

I should note that it was the first Padron I've tried. It has me intrigued, but I have mixed opinions on its flavor profile. Very smooth, creamy, everything was perfect, I just didn't necessarily enjoy the flavor profile. After I try a few more I will have a better feel for them I'm sure. I have a bit better hopes for the maduro version.

I found it produced a great deal of smoke and had a perfect draw. Extremely impressive construction for the price. The burn wasn't super sharp, but required no corrections. I still can't believe how distinct the flavors were on that stick.

I had the Delicias natural tonight and it has an incredibly distinct flavor. I am having the most difficult time describing it. Perhaps musty is the word. It was strongly vegetable-like, but musty. I'm not sure exactly what to say, I will have to try it a few more times to develop a full opinion. I've got the maduro version as well, I'm extremely interested to see the differences. They have a similar scent, but they're also a bit different. Both have a VERY strong raw aroma.
To me Padrons are overall great flavor cigars but have no strength. Surprising to me you felt the strength kick you did. Even the 80 year stick didnt have too much strength to me.

@PJSeg52 Well that's certainly not the case, but you may have a very high tolerance level to nicotine.

Thanks for nailing this review, one of my all time favorite cigars, I do prefer the larger sizes though. I do enjoy your review over all I have seen, one thing you do not talk about is something that is important to be when reviewing a cigar, is the aroma, thank you again for your great reviews

@mitch89014 Yes, I do. ^ "The aroma is a faint peppery tobacco with a hint of sweetness. "
