For wheelchair users requiring getting about town without assistance, this could be exactly what you are looking for. You enter the Kenguru on an automatically lowering ramp, which comes down as the back door opens at the press of the key. Wheel in and you'll find a motorcycle type handlebar controls in front of you.
Put the key in the ignition switch and the back door shuts lifting the ramp at the same time. The Kenguru will not start until the wheelchair is in a correct locking position and the door has been fully closed -- the security considerations have been fully thought out and implemented with your safety in mind as a priority.
What could be simpler?

  • It's a great car as long as you don't go anywhere, don't take anyone with you, don't drive over 35mph, or longer than 50 miles. The idea is good but they should adapt the same rear-entry ramp to a Smart-Car Turbo Diesel 2-seater, then you'll have a fast, 70mpg car for real life.

  • In Soviet Russia, car drive you.

  • @MysteriousGirlof2011 Looks like it's made in Cyprus and serviced in Hungary. It's actually free in I think Poland or hungary given to the disabled by the government. But it's only capable of 30mph speed & 40-60 mile range like a fast scooter! Not really worth any more than $7000.

  • Someone with brains should do the same entry on a Smart-Car-Electric for America & sell it for under $14k.

  • @321098aj lol.

  • I actually did research and this car is worth $14,000.00 and it has a joystick control like on an electric wheelchair. As a physically handicap person i think this is rly cool. the only problem i have is that its a driver-only car and there's very limited room. it's better than not having at all.

  • Bet it's expensive.

  • hahaha its the transformer from transformers 2. and look at that fuckin muppet in the wheelchair colour co ordinated with his car. they made the car ugly just to match the disabled guy? hahah stupid shit idea. pointless video. but i laughed at the disabled man so i wont dislike it lol.

  • how does benefits work if you adopt a handicap?

  • How can 2 people dislike this? Seriously why people do not like handicapped people?
