Artex 5 hours old

One of our mares had a foal but she sadly passed away not long after the birth. We are lucky that the foal survived. So here is a little slide show of him about 5 hours after he was born.

my mare just recently had a foal and its her 3rd foal and its our first. you are lucky to have the foal in memory of her but at least you have the foal then to have neither of them. it is sad to see orphan foals but we make up for thier needs and take over the mum role. good luck and take care

that is soooo sad! i had 2 horses but i had to get rid of them coz they costed too much! but it couldnt have been as hard as it was for u! :(
