JJust saw the you tube clip where Marti mentioned how the song came about, how he was in a Glasgow bar having a pint. He got talking elderly man who spoke to him about his life, how he'd lost his family and his marriage ended through alcoholism. And he said to Marti that you can't " Hold back the River" and they realised it would be a great title for a song. Marti's vocals are great here as always. Thanks to Nick for upload!!

They were in Ireland a couple of years ago but didn't get a chance to see them

Marti was on Tv a couple of months ago singing a song from the Jekyll and Hyde Musical - he was great!

Me too, thanks Nick for upload. I have read that they tried USA. in the 1990-2000 decade. Did they make there? Anyway, who cares.No one could take away Wets and Marti away from me now.

Cause when we were younger, we knew these melodies, in Romania, But never allowed to identify Wets and Marti.Strange, again... to listen your favourite music with a name on it.
