While I absolutely LOVE Jacques Brel's version of this song more than all, I give props to Barbra's version. The solo guitar/piano is just gorgeous and just...beautiful. Accessible. Love it.

wow, barbara still sings and do albums. i didn,t know. weird how youtube can bring you somewhere sometimes. I was listening to Cindy Lauper singing If you go away and with the comment under the video a was sent to other places and now i'm here.
J'aime beaucoup cette chanson, le coeur y est plus que tout ,et jamais je n'oublirai la fois ou j'ai vu Jacques Brel, la chanté a la télé. Quel homme passionné.
