  • bravo! nice interpretation, i like the register you play it in. is that a renaissance recorder? i just discovered there's recorder playin' on this youtube. hopefully it'll inspire me to get back to work on my recorders..

    thanks

  • Hello. The recorder is a Bassano G Alto made by Jean Luc Boudreau. So, renaissance style bore, large holes, etc.

  • WOW! Just beautiful! Is the sheet music for this piece available?

  • Hello siouxsam123. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. Glad you like the tune. No sheet music available ... it's an improvisation. The theme is based on a 14th century salterello.

  • very well done, i love it. i play recorder since i'm 5 and i never thought i would find such beautiful music an youtube ^^

  • Thank you, Lump1988. I appreciate the remarks. Also glad to see someone here who is also a recorder player. Hope you're still playing it.

  • It is so good! Thanks. When I heard this song for first time two years ago, I was able to appreciate the recorder flute like wonderful instrument. It's a shame than sheet score is unavaliable.

  • Wonderful sound & perfomance. Bravo !

  • beautifully played, great tone

  • a masterpiece of art. i loved it. i personally have been trying to get myself to play the recorder again but ive got way too much homework. how long have you been playing? because everytime ive got a fast paced song my low notes squeak. youve had to have trained for months to train your diaphram to breath that slow. man i loved your song!!!! kudos for you
