  • Most aneurysm could be embolized with coils. But occasionally, more advance techniques like remodeling (with balloon) or stenting are required for safety. It seem your girl need any procedure to secure the aneurysm from rebleeding. God bless you

  • what's the radiation dose from a procedure like this in mgy?

  • according to the docs, there isn't any medication to treat aneurysm. i had the endovascular coiling done 2 weeks ago to fix the leakage. please don't get too worried abt the operation as full anesthetics will be given. please email me at jamiefarm@gmail.com if u need more info.

  • when u say 30 mins, i'm assuming it was angiogram. i had the angiogram done on 23rd august and the endovascular coiling to fix a leakage on 26th august. how are u recovering? any post operation side effects?

  • hi i had the coiling done approx 2 weeks ago. just wondering if you have double vision as well?

  • I hat a left vertibral artery dissection and anuerysm coiling done in 2007. I was awake the whole time. It went smoothly except when they sent me back to the ICU and the pain meds wore off. I felt like I got shot in the head. Probably some swelling issue. I was fine afterwards but when my BP gets too high I do expeirence numbness on the left side of my face/body. I just need to be careful about pressure build up in my head. I had many MRIs over the years to make sure things were fine.

  • i have had this done just 2 months ago and still carnt put peaces back together i am still not allowed to drive yet but i had a lot of coiling done and i just hope i get better soon

  • My fiance has an aneurism, fluxuates from 10mm-13mm, so I guess it is relatively small, but causing her great head pain as she recovers from neurological damage in her temporal lobe. Six months into the recovery from the hemorrhage and swelling this aneurism has burst twice now and is very painful.....doctor's aren't certain about coil embolism possibilities....thoughts?

  • i am 34 and i have a mca fusiform aneurysm and one doc told me he would moniture it and this dr thomas grobelney told me about this and he wants to do it soon. the other doc wanted to open my head up and do a bypass. well its not the mca its a branch off the mca.?has anyone ever had an artery block off by it coiled shut which redirects the flow?

  • I have had this procedure in 2005, they managed to get 32 coils in it in two sittings !! oh and a stent what ever that was.
