How to get a Mob Spawner

This is a using a glitch in the game and and possibly other programs
(world protect). At the time it was claimed that a mod was responsible
and the matter dropped.

Since the increased traffic it's been learned the person (one Pikmin Red)
who first mentioned it being a mod was wrong.

I imagine the glitch has been fixed I don't know. I can't play
Minecraft any more as it hurt my hand too much the only game that does.
I figure I mine just a bit too much.

So bottom line: Sealil1 just happened to try to grab a mob spawner when
a glitch allowed it. If the spawner was placed elsewhere you would be
disconnected. When you logged back on, your spawner would be in place
and it would spawn pigs, lots of pigs.

To place a spawner you need a room built around it made of moss rock what
you can collect at the original spawner location.

This I think is a first, nowhere can I find where Mob Spawners can be picked up.
In fact all say the best you can do is destroy them or build a trap around
one.

Now you can put them were you want them - It might spawn just pigs, I
haven't used one that long and I've got two more in the chest :)

Sealil1 came up with this method. The object is to dig down and come up
under the cage, then hit it with your hand, it takes quite awhile but it will
finally pop out. Anything but your hand will destroy it.

Son of a gun, forgot I had this account until
the email messages started coming in that comments had been left.

A video that's just taking up space seeing this type of activity, well
surprise is an understatement.

It's not meant to deceive or been edited. The very first comment
mentioned that the site had a mod allowing this, I didn't know that at the time.
The video was just never removed. BTW Sealil1 is my son, who I play Minecraft with.

I'm trying to find the author of the mod at this time.

@Rukkis38 That would be moss stone, moss stone lines the chamber of a spwaner.

and the only place it's found.

It's important to take the moss stone as well - if your able to acquire a spawner

you will need to line your relocated spawner with the stone.
