Video clip flight from London Stansted airport in drizzling rain and landing in Sweden Skavsta airport in fog. It sure fooled me as I thought we were still high above the clouds. You can see at the end of the clip how dense the fog is when the boeing turns around on the runway to head towards the terminal. My favourite part is breaking through the clouds into the blue skies leaving Stansted. Enjoy

  • It may be 50 miles from London but is serves London as a budget airline airport. London/Gatwick serve long haul/short routes, london city business travellers and luton/stansted budget airlines.

Budget airlines operate quick turnaround times, avoid airports stands, expensive airport taxes, which is why they avoid the long haul international airports.

Airports should be located away from the city anyway.

Considering it's distance, it still serves london rather than the east of the country.

  • Nice video..suggestion: NO MUSIC! PLEASE!!

  • Thats the thing I love most about flying no matter how lousy the weather is down below, its alwas sunny with blue skies up there.

  • Standsted airport should be called just standsted coz its notwhere london its about an hour and a half away but good take off

  • Meh. More like 5000 to 6000.

  • ahh I bet that was strange. Looks like the aircraft was 10,000 feet up at 6 mins ish but obvously not coz of the flaps. Good stuff :D

  • You can tell form the position of the flaps that you are close to the ground.

  • wow like watching a movie! love it!!! detailed video. nice nice
