No mention of the Haitian Revolution which led to France wanting to sell the ENTIRE territory. Plus, was never a great proponent for Manifest Destiny. That came to rise a lot later. Good, overall bit the ending is misleading

Actually the territory costed 11.25 million and then 3.75 million was to settle debt.
