NCDOT crews are out in full force on I-40 in Haywood County. The concern Tuesday night is black ice on the highway. Crews are focusing on interstates first, then state highways and secondary roads. So far, there have no major crashes. But troopers are worried that people might drive too fast if they don't see actual snow on the roads overnight. Officials are urging motorists to slow down, pay attention, and take it easy on winding stretches of I-40. The State Patrol and the NCDOT say they have a full staff on standby ready to respond in the event things on the interstate take a turn for the worse.Follow Mario on Twitter @MarioBooneRelated Links:Madison County Morning SnowMany Still Without PowerPower Knocked Out for Thousands of Progress Energy Customers Widespread Power Outages Across Western North CarolinaMountain Snowfall Strong Wind Causes Tree To Fall on Dump TruckNCDOT
