It makes the sound of blowing wind, i personally find that better than loud music.

If it does mask the music, keep in mind that it will be higher than the music.. in theory.

hi frank. does this device work if i have a thin wall between me and my roommate. he always plays music with strong base and my room feels like a party room. will this device be able to intercept the music he plays from his room with the white noise? i'm thinking about purchasing this from your website. thanks in advance.
