This is a close-up view of Route 80 in Paterson, New Jersey from Garret Mountain. I sped up to film to demonstrate traffic volume (on a Sunday afternoon) and added video effects at the end. This video is hit or miss; it will either be very interesting to you from an artistic perspective, or you will find it to be boring.

  • my birthplace

  • This'll make ya laff, and show my age, but I was there when they were building I80, used to play in the drainage tunnels under it. Used to go watch for hours as they blasted the rock and built the bridge abutments. Something you may not know, but the old Erie railroad tracks were what is now the route from near south side of Garrett Mtn clear thru Wayne.....thanx for sharing.
