I'm 11. I've been verbally abused and bullied. I'm always screamed at by my parents. I've tried hanging myself once, I've tried drowning myself several times, and I have considered overdose many, many times. I just don't know what to do anymore, I say I'm gonna suicide then I chicken out.

This was like watching MY story, 36 years ago. When I was 22 and my brother was 30, he took his life. I remember hearing someone in a support group I was in 3 months later say that it had been 3 years since her sister committed suicide and I couldn't conceive of how I could still hurt in three years. Now it's been 36 years, and I still hurt, differently maybe, but the empty space that was Dave is still there in me. Thank you, Lidia, for helping others avoid our experiences.

It's great that you are trying to put some positive actions in the world by trying to prevent this. There are no answers in this world. There is a loneliness in the world that is greater than any of us. I would like to believe there is a number to call that could somehow make it better. But life sucks in ways that most people can't even imagine. People who commit suicide are at the end of their rope in this shithole society and rather than beg for someone to "understand their pain" they leave...

@toontown633 you mean everything to your family. i know this because i have tried to kill myself before dont do it you are not alone. i love even though i dont know you you mean the world to your parents. I found this out after i came home one night and was goign to kill myself the next day. i am only fourteen . i got help and amm better. dont ever think that you are alone this world. ever
