How to make a simple level editer, from here on making a level editer should be simple useing this example. Subscribe! here are the steps:
How to make a level
editor in Game maker


Step 1:
1 sprite is needed (as a
example a wall)

Step 2:
make a object called
'obj_createwall'


Step 3:
Add a new event (global
left pressed) this means
if you press anywhere it
will happen


Step 4:
new action create
instance
x=mouse_x
y=mouse_y
okay leave that for now
new object sprite=wall
and leave it


Step5:
open obj_createwall
and go on the create
instance action, now
where it says object
pick the wall object!

now make a new room.
and put the createwall object in it!

Its not a level editer, so what you just place blocks thats it!

Yes. becuase from there its pretty easy to make a level
editer, just make it so that you got a box saying 'wall'
or a picture of the wall on it and when you click on it
it creates the createwall object and when you have more
of them (Example: player) make it destorys the createwall object when you click it and from there
just make a nre object like the createwall object but this time make it do the player!
