These forms are the same as they were 16 years ago when I first learned them. In Jung's TKD Academy, they taught two forms for each of the first few kup. White belt was Chon-ji and Palgwe 1. Then Yellow with Dangun and Palgwe 2, etc. These were essential to passing onto your next belt. I've seen that a lot of TKD schools now focus on Taegeuk rather than Palgwe, though I never learned the Taegeuk to really know the difference.

I dont know "why"...but for me and in my own opinion the Palgwe is easier to learn and i feel more relaxed especially when im performing this Palgwe 2.

green belt? lol what?
ahh we learn palgwe as soon as you become a senior " 16+ years old" , same as DAN belts are ONLY awarded to Seniors, those of not senior and poom belt, tha's why it's half red half black for poom belts

@RDraGon2179 yes and no. ITF do in fact have some different blokcing tech and the WTF have elemenated some, but for the most part yes they do the same blacks, but then again they all do. And ITF actually perform the tech of the blocks different. The preperations of the tech that is.

excellent instructional video. remember diffrent tae-kwon-do schools have diffrent belt systems ,but in the end the student learns all the palgwe forms before black belt
I totally read that as "what the fuck forms". The initials for the World Taekwondo Federation are so unfortunate.
