Hmmm, I guess you don't know how the Constitution and government works, eh?
The President can only spend the money the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS gave him...

It's nice that Price has outlined what the earmarks are, but he should have outlined the amount of earmarks he carried with him. Or his republican counterparts.
-
Tom Price is not a senator, he is a Representative.
Obama said that he would reform the earmark process. He also said that some earmarks are good.
The entire issue of earmarks is a red herring. Earmarks constitute less than 2% of the budget. His outrage seems misguided.
Price's close associate Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA) received more earmark money ($36 million) this year than any other Georgia politician. But Price has not criticism for his buddy.
Price is a fraud.

No, actually Obama is the fraud. Obama is the one that said he would eliminate earmarks, not Bush. Obama flat out lied to the American people. It's indisputable. And if you voted for him, y'all just been Bamboozled.
FInally, your comment shows just how feable your working knowledge of the government is. How would Price, who is a Senator from Georgia, know anything about what the lovely Sarah Plain was doing in Alaska?
I guess that makes you a Bamoozled idiot, now doesn't it, Oscar?

Privatization had nothing to do with Fannie and Freddie collapsing. There's a YouTube video of President Bush warning - at least a couple of times, I believe, that this might happen because Fannie and Freddie were getting too big. But Barney Frank and cohorts blocked any type of regulation. Government regulation is no cure-all - for sure - but in this case it certainly would have helped bring everything out into the light.

Nice that they're noticing pork now that they're the underdog party, in a convenient position to criticize without substantial repercussion. Even though this only amounts to a tiny fraction of the overall budget, it's nice that someone is thinking about these little margins. Now if they could just think about reigning in the other 98% of this enormous mess, we might actually see some savings.

Price ignored Bush's irresponsible budgets.
Price ignored Sara Palin's infamous love of pork.
Page after page after page, Price is a fraud.
-
When Sara Palin was the VP nominee, did Price say anything about her love of pork?
When Bush ran up huge deficits in a time of relative economic prosperity did Price rail against his bloated and irresponsible budgets?
Price is a fraud.

Oh, man! I wonder if they realized how epic it is that it's OVER 9000!! ? Heh. And to think I didn't vote for this guy. Guess I should have. Well, he won anyway. Wish John McCain hadn't gone and lost, though. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
UUUUUUUUUUUUU -
The argument over who's getting more pork, is interesting, but moot (I say fire each and every one IMHO).
I look at the idiot who signs the damn thing.
It's ultimately up to him, to sign or veto, what we all agree (most of us) is the wrong thing at the wrong time. But as usual, "WE THE PEOPLE" is just the words to that funny little document, and not to be taken seriously.
Let's try this: Fire them all. No exceptions.
keep up the good work, tom. people should really be informed about this stuff, and lord knows the media isn't gonna tell'em.
change schmange, politics as usual, but worse!
