@PS3ification The characters look actually more like Japanese ppl than Caucasian ppl. Look at the shape of their face and how their eyes aren't deep in their face (don't know how to describe it). It's more like an asian face than like a caucasian one. Not all Japanese have squinty eyes btw, there are actually a lot of them who have more round eyes. They may not have black hair, but hey, Americans don't naturally have purple or pink hair either huh?

I sometimes wish I bought the Japanese version because their voices are so much better. Just by listening to the voice comparisons ( watch?v=wu6luY6mm4Y) you can see that the English version sounds more monotone than the Japanese version. Sazh sounds pretty funny though xD But both Maaya Sakamoto and Ali Hillis sound amazing.
