A march against male violence towards women, as well as in memory of the women who have died on the streets. Men were welcome to take part, and did. When the woman is speaking she mentioned she is from PAAFE - that is the Prostitution Awareness & Action Foundation of Edmonton. March 28, 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Wow, its really sad to see how ignorant people are. This isn't about hating men - but of course if you fear a society without patriarchy you would believe that. Its about educating men and others about violence against women to prevent it.

So,this FEMNAZI Asshole expects the COPS to do what?Become bodyguards for WHORES?The WHORES already have those, they usually call them PIMPS! Why then are the FEMNAZI FOOLS against legalizing prostitution?I sincerely don't think that the WOMEN' S STUDIES Cash Cow Parasite Man-Hater Dyke professors give a Rat's Ass about the "Poor Hooker" victims. The Whores are just an excuse to indoctrinate their naive young students into becoming Man-Haters and Fem-Nazis.BTW,SUCK COCK!

I find it interesting that in Edmonton when women take back the night they march on the sidewalks. Here in Toronto we TAKE OVER THE STREETS.

I agree with alot of this. Of course I wouldn't deny the contributions women have made to society, though I can only look at things from the point of view I have, being who and what I am, and as a woman I see that we don't live in a meritocracy and things like your race and gender affect where you're allowed to go. I'm talking worldwide, where women are butchered, sold and considered 'unclean' by patriarchal religions. We have rights women in other patriarchal countries (arabia etc) don't have.

of course it has to go? how could i possibly argue with your point when your talking about a hypothetical viewpoint that men are controlling the world. that's too broad of a perception for me. yes men do control the world through various ideologies, but you also have to account for women's influence on society and on men.I don't believe for a second that we could have created this society with men alone. Afterall we live in a society together. Which means ideas from both sides coincide daily

Look, Patriarchy is a system with men in charge. Why is that right? Of course it has to go. We need a balance of male and female. A feminist who hates men is not a true feminist. A true feminist is someone who wants equality. Look it up in the dictionary.

feminists have snowballed into their own world of "patriarchy". this politically correct bigotry is wrong. if a man said anything about ONE woman, he is now sexist. it's open season on men. DV stats, wage gap and other feminist fights are all twisted. brainwash is a powerful thing. whens the last time a politician said men's issue?

yes means yes, untill she changes her mind in the morning. this "violence against women" campaign is nothing but a sad cover up to express hatred towards men. feminists care less about women than punishing men. maybe they should arrest the prostitutes to get them off the street? There are many women-only government funded programs to get them going again. atleast women dont freeze to death when homeless.

"patriarchys got to go"= "all men got to go to prison" anti-male sexism has to go! fuck this.
