In Lesson 4 take our notebook out back (it was a nice day) and insert the PC Card wireless network adapter into a open PC Card slot. Just like in the previous two lessons we show how to install the configuration software that came with the adapter. We will get the computer connected to the router and on the Internet in Section 4.

  • how many dvd drives do you need? lol

  • @PlayingPanda At 22 seconds into the video it shows several drive letters that appear to be disc drives. These are actually virtual drives. They allow you to load or mount .iso or other disc image files so they appear to the computer to be the actual disc. When in actuality they are just files you have on your hard drive. Once a disc image is mounted you can use it just as you would a real disc. This cuts down a lot on having to burn CDs, DVDs and Bluray discs.

  • @hpcbdvd Thanks you rock

  • @UrFriendA1 You can bridge two wireless routers together using one as the router and the other as a bridge. Most routers can function as a bridge. Check the router's manual for instructions.

  • How I can connect one router with another to connect internet 300-400 feet away
