Demi-*cell phone rings and looks at it* Oh, I have to take this. *leaves*
Joe- *notices she leaves the cafeteria* Dudes, I gotta go.
Kevin- Bye, Joe. Be careful.
Joe- I will, Kev. I will. *follows Demi*

(In the Hallway)

Demi- *picks up the phone* Hello?
???- Hi, babe.
Demi- *half-smiles* Hi, Sterling.
Sterling- You have your answer?
Demi- Sterling, not... now.
Joe- *Thinking: Sterling?*
Sterling- *breathes softly in the phone* You know you want me... as much as I want you.
Demi- *shivers as if she could feel his cold breath* Dont make predictions about me.
Sterling- *chuckles* Meet me at the park after school. Love ya, babe.
Demi- *hears the click and then the dial tone* *sighs*
Joe- *appears behind her* Sup, Demikins.
Demi- *swivels around* Joe?!
Joe- The one and only.
Demi- You scared me so badly. And Demikins? Talk about cheesy.
Joe- What kind of cheesy? Swiss cheesy, chedder cheesey...
Demi- Oh, shut up. *laughs* Were you spying on me?
Joe- *innocent look* Me? Eavesdrop? Pshhh...
Demi- *rolls her eyes* Take care, Joey Bear.
Joe- *winks* Will do, Demi Poo.
Demi- *smiles and leaves*

(On the Bus, afterschool)

Miley- *bounces up to Demi and Selena, who are sitting together* OMG! OMG! OMG!
Demi- *looks up and raises her eyebrows* Um, wow.
Selena- *bites her lips, trying to hold back tears*
Miley- Guess what happened?!
Demi- Did you have...
Miley- *slaps her arm* Ew! Im not a slut!
Demi- Then what happened?
Selena- *sighs quietly*
Demi- *looks over at Selena* Selly? Are you okay?
Selena- *plasters a fake smile on* I'm fine.
Demi- *not convinced* If you're sure. *to Miley* Tell me, I'm dying to know!
Miley- *squeals* NICK JONAS ASKED ME OUT!
Demi- *gasps* Thats great!
Selena- *trying to keep that fake smile on* Yeah. *tears well up in her eyes*
Demi- *doesnt notice* Nick is the 2nd most popular dude in the whole school!
Miley- And who's first?
Demi- *tries to hide her smile* Mr. Joe Jonas.
Miley- *grins* YOU COULD DATE JOE AND I COULD DATE NICK!
Demi- Hah. No, were just best friends. *Thinking: I sometimes wish...*
Miley- If you're sure.
Selena- *leans her head against the seat and cries silently*
