I have the denon 5500 now and it rocks. No cue slip problem at all. I have it hooked to the behringer ddm4000 which I like more than my pio djm 800. I also have my laptop with RPM software by gizmolabs. Fully native support with denons, perfect. After having both pio and denon, I prefer denon, but that is just my choice. :)

I Have 14 years of Dj an yes i learn witn bad turntables,then i buy mi first technics 1200,then denon 2700 in 1997 and dn-200f,in 1999 i buy the 2000 fmkIII then the buy dn-2600 in 2001, in 2005 dn-4000 and in 2006 denon 5000, in 2008 dnhs-5500 no more ,my bro have a pair of pioneers cdj1000 and isnt so exactly like denon i never have problems with denon yes "DENON FOR LIFE"!!

yesterday i use the pioneer cdj 2000 and the pioneer cdj 900 and y like more these denon 5500 in the pioneer you cant connect a keyboard!!! ans u dont have on the screen to select A,B,C,D, ...etc, i love denon!!!

new firmware update released as of yesterday. All reported problems have been resolved. Gonna now get me two of these bad boys.

@AlantjeD yesss im soo hapy ,i use it with 32gb usb memory,it works amazing,never have problems ,install the latest firmware version if you buy it,u can download from denon dj site
