Acadia National Park, Maine

Here are some interesting pictures from Acadia National Park in Maine. Interesting to see how the same scene can change with the seasons! Music is "Mountain Aire"; a quick piece I wrote to see if I could do anything with guitar and harmonica. Acadia is truly a place to be for those who love the outdoors. Hike, bike, kayak, do volunteer work (Friends of Acadia) or just plain RELAX, Acadia is whatever you want it to be!

Here are some of my favorites; Carriage Roads for biking; North Trail up Cadallac for views and challenge; Geddys for that all important after hike treat; Kebo Golf Course; sunset kayaking in Bar Harbor; Poor Boy's for a nice dinner. Check out guided ranger tours. Under the Stars @ Sand Beach and Trees Along the Trail are my favorites. Don't forget OTHER parts of the island! Acadia Mtn and Beech Cliffs over by SW Harbor. Lots of websites for recommends, too! [;]^)

Before I saw the Grand Canyon, I ranked Acadia as my favorite national park. It's still my favorite park in the east.
