Remote viewing your cctv42 cctv system on the new iPhone 4. We are getting lots of calls asking if it's still possible to see you cctv cameras when using the iPhone 4. The answer is yes, and so we put together this little video to show you.

It's exactly the same as using your old iPhone 2G or 3G. You can also remote access your cctv sstem on a blackberry, Nokia, LG, Motorola or any other phone which has a graphic (rather than a text) based browser.

Full function remote access requires internet explorer but this cut down viewing platform which is included on all our DVR recorders offers a guaranteed ability to check your cctv providing you have an internet connection at both ends.

  • what i dont get is how to set the dvr to let you in this is so hard

  • @mmstudios95 the biggest issue is not having the DVR allowing you to connect, but your broadband router to allow you to connect to the DVR when you are away from your property. This is done by something called Port Forwarding. There is no single guide on the internet of how to do this, because every

router does this in a different way!

  • What is the name of your DVR?

  • @filmvfxdatabase We have them manufacturered for us. Do you need any further information on them?

  • Assuming you can access a 'normal' HTML page with JPEG images, you will be able to, yes. I you want to give me a call on 01895 233311, I can setup a demo for you. Cheers. Matt
