It's great that Stewart is doing this, but this thing is so ripe with ridicule because this ISN'T the real plan, this is just media spin for damage control.

THE REAL PLAN was to intentionally ship the guns to Mexico and WHEN (not IF!) civilians and border/DEA agents turned up dead they could then shout, "See! See what happens when you let people have guns. They bought them at American gun shows. Guess we gotta amend the patriot act restricting the 2nd amendment now."

The drug cartels have their own gun smiths.... They use these weapons to duplicate new ones ...... It is going to get worse before it gets better..... If you strip the everyday citizen of his 2nd amendment rights, all you do is make it easy for the bad guy....
