If laying in winter how do you protect it from frost and snow??

@lowestoftbus we recommend you avoid laying in times of frost, but if already laid it's best to avoid walking on the turf (or any lawn) when covered in frost or snow, as the grass will damage more easily. Newly laid turf that has snow and ice on it will usually recover the following spring. When conditions are severe more extensive remedial work may be required in spring to repair any damage caused.
