This video shows you how to switch from circular needles to double-pointed needles as you decrease for the crown of the cap.

  • For anyone considering on purchasing this lesson, don't, just do it! Go check my second cap I did using Staci's lesson in Raverly under Nonnacorsi, only thing I did different was changed the design, just because after you learn this it wasn't that hard to figure out. Could this be because of Staci's calm and relaxing way to knit? Ummm, yes! Thanks Staci

  • @NonnaCorsi Thank you! I'm glad you're having such great success! :)

  • This was so quick and easy to do, but most of all it was alot of fun! Looking forward in doing my own design for my next cap. The only thing I would have liked changed, would be the gathering on the top, would want a more fitted top so I can make this for the dudes in my life and they wouldn't dig the top at all. Any suggestions Staci??

  • @NonnaCorsi Great! I'm glad you enjoyed knitting the cap! Regarding modifying the pattern - I'm not sure what you mean by "more fitted", since this cap is pretty fitted with no positive ease, but you can try decreasing more quickly or more slowly at the crown if you want it to fit differently.

  • I haven't bought the pattern, I'm just using these videos so I was wondering when you start the color chart, do you decrease as you go? Or you just start to decrease when you are completely done with the color chart? Because I feel like there's gonna be more stitches than wheat I started with.(I'm making an adult size)

  • @bubbleslove85 Sorry - that information is available in the written pattern only. If you decide to buy the pattern, you can follow the link in the video description field, just below the video.

  • hi staci..

i want to ask if "The slouch hat or cap " can also be knitted??? because i ve seen a lot of crocheted slouch hats... and if yes can u plz do a tutorial on it?

    thx

  • @verypinkknits Okay! i see what you mean!! THanks so much!!!

  • My bad Staci! Significant other came up this morning to bring me coffee, I asked him to put hat on so I could post a picture. Well he loves it! he said, you know what they call this don't you? A skull cap, hmmm, I did not know this, but it made him happy! So not concerned about the gathering at the crown, it smoothed down on his head, thinking my head is smaller? Thanks for this video, going for some yarn to make 2 more!!!

  • @verypinkknits Okay, thanks(:
