metalfunkjazz P basses don't suck, you do. You should be able to pick up anything and play it. Stop being such a lil baby.

@zabuza182 Yes very true. A big advocate of the Fender P, is Steve Harris. His sound is unmistakable.

@diamonddust22 man its not only art man its history. I personally own a P Bass and its the only bass I would need. Sure I love Ernie Ball MM5 but in the end I pick up the Fender and love it. I believe Fender had it right the first time and that's the way it should be. They got it so right on that every bass company copies their split P or Jazz pickup style. Fender is probably the most versatile bass company there is. From Jazz to Heavy metal, you see Fender anywhere you go.

@zabuza182 damn right man, you feel you have an amazing piece of work in your hands everytime

@diamonddust22 the P Bass is the one that started it all man. They call it precision for a reason because it was the first to have frets. I wish that person knew their history before talking like an idiot. Not to mention that the P Bass and the Jazz bass are both the standard when it comes to Basses period They both started the electric bass movement. Fenders are genuine guitars

@zabuza182 Yeah I know you are so right. P basses are great basses period
-
@diamonddust22 who ever said the p bass sucks is an idiot who doesnt know anything about bass

CAROUSEL WOOOOOOOO
was there a HUGE difference once you out the SD quarter pounders in?
-
hey man nice mods.. I got a few questions... Is it a mexican.. and was it hard to put those pickup's in? I plan on getting a turtle shell pickguard for my p bass, with a slotted badass 2 bridge and some spb-3 quarter pounders and it should be completely modded

Sounds like a set of roundwound Rotosounds (40, 60, 80, 100) wouldn't be a disaster tonally
Which did u think wass better, the american j bass or american p bass

I love them both so much. But I have to go with the P for the simplicity and great tone.

personally id go for the jazz because its more versatile, my ideal bass i suppose would b a p-bass body and neck with j-bass pickups

Yeah man, Jazz's have a great sound and I bet a lot more people like the Jazz instead of a P. And I'm beginning to feel the same.
I just love plugging in my p bass and playing, only a tone knob.
