@hahaha4426 The cantil is actually a very, VERY close relative of the cottonmouth. Some people consider them a subspecies, and cantils are often called "Mexican Moccassins".

Well, I wouldn't want to be eradicated. (But that's a purely selfish opinion.) In any situation that required it, I'd fight my utmost NOT to be eradicated. However, as a general rule, there are two types of situation when venomous snakes use their venom: 1.) To secure food; 2.) When they perceive a threat.

@Trickipedia Your examples are Non sequitur. These particular animals are NOT NEEDED. The ecosystem will get along fine without them & you KNOW IT. You just don't have an argument for that so you dump a bunch of lard in here like it’s going to confuse people who seek the truth. @Trickipedia It's not humanity's fault that snakes are slow & in the way. And yes... humans are more important & the world DOES revolve around us. Just look around you, numbskull. Besides, I have nothing against snakes. Only the ones dangerous to man. One bite will kill a child. And when you get old enough to have someone on this earth who you care about more than yourself, then you’ll find out that people are indeed the most important things in the world.
