The Priestess warn Raziel before going to the gathering to not trust kain when he was still a vampire but he didn t trust her and kill her.I have read that comic that was made to promote soul reaver 1 .

I don't know which witch I like more, Priestess or Azimuth. I wonder what'd happen if Priestess ever managed to get ahold of Kain's trinkets. Do you think they'd look better on her? :)
