Did Grimlock's arms always go in like that? If so, I never knew. I never cared for the arms on it, but if this is the case, I'll have to give it another look.

yeah, and you can easily mod them to go in a little further to look good.

What all would I have to do for that? It's rather blatant that a phillips head to take the legs/arms apart.

After opening it, what would I have to do?

just trim down some of the slots and plastic inside to let the arm piece slide in more.

i have the american version, but my sword looks like the takara? interesting. perhaps he just swapped them.

Yeah, it takes a little elbow grease, but it's doable.

not only the colors, but the quality of the plastic too...

if you have collected henkei series and classics series, you'd notice that henkei transformers tend to have tighter joints and more show/series accurate...

while hasbro...sigh..sad to say, most of their toys are pretty disappointing. loose joints, lousy paint apps, not accurate to show/series, and sometimes, easy to break plastic.
