Larry's question asked the motive of why she settled, which was completely in line b/c she was there to talk about her book, which is on her pageant experience and the settlement is part of that experience. Asking you WHY you settled is different from what the settlement is. She only didn't answer b/c it would make her seem like a sell-out. She settled for money instead of fighting her "cause".

Her response "it was inappropriate" was directed at Larry because she seemed to believe he was asking about the terms of the settlement.

The problem with this belief is lies in the fact that he was not asking about the the terms of the settlement, but rather her motive to even deciding to settle.

Both you and her seemed to let the question go right over your heads.

I don't think that the question was "inapro- piate". And she was a guest on his show trying to plug her new book. If she was really that uncomfortable answering that particular question, she should of just said so instead of patronizing poor lary, and going on and on about how "inaprop- iate" the question was. And the guist of it is that he said ok, and moved on, and that when she said she was leaving and pre- ceded to remove the mike. I doubt we'll see her on any more shows.
