Nine Inch Nails - Quake - Main Theme

This is the main theme from the legendary PC-game Quake, released in 1996, which became a worthy follower of the id-software´s cult Doom. But what makes this game a very special one is the dark creepy occult soundtrack composed by Trent Reznor. It´s a masterpiece from the highest adept of his branch. Quake is still considered as one of the best soundtracks ever...

God I miss this era and this game... playing on my 33.6 modem, CTF.... GIBS, body parts, blood everywhere... such a fast, action packed game. Everything about quake was awesome. I played Quake3 madly when that came out... nothing has ever had the same feeling since.

@SuperGoldenstick Yes, me too. In fact, I don´t know If you played Doom 3 with the perfected Doom v 6 mod installed before? buy you could check out my gameplay on my youtube page. It´s freaking awsome! (just google for Perfected Doom 3, and download the latest mod). I sure hope Doom 4 will be like Doom 3, but like 1million times better.

If that´s the case, then ID Software will be back on the FPS throne again. As the kings of the entier FPS genera. Carmack, plz make It happen!

@SuperGoldenstick Any time man =) no sweat! haha! no wonder that you dident know that xD not your fault bro. Sadly enough, I have to agree with you. The whole thrill and feeling that you got from the old FPS games, such as Doom, Quake and Blood. Don´t exist any more pretty much.

I mean, sure. I love Bioshock, BF3 and Stalker. But those are like, just a handfull of really good FPS games from now days. To make a long story short. The FPS genera are more boring now then before.

@theGaminggrounds Well thanks for telling me that! Never was around in the quake days since i was born 97 :/ and it's sad with all of these modern shooters which have imo turned the genre into shit. waiting for doom 4 though(if it's ever coming out...)
