Emil !!!! Wow, it seems like yesterday.
-
That's awesome!

Going by the year and lineup, I'm guessing it was at Don Neals somewhere on or near Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Openers were Saccharine Trust and Violent Apathy. This is my educated guess going by show listings and lineup listings in both Get In The Van by Rollins and Why Be Something That You're Not by Tony Rettman.

cheers for that awesome video!

this is really awesome footage!

If this was shot in Kalamazoo(what a f-ing great name)I bet Violent Apathy opened.

Good footage ,any BF w/o Chuck D is not worth watching ,lame audio when you consider Emil is on drums who was a lot better than Bill Stevenson. Why do people often suck when they leave their band to help out another?Bill S. was just awesome w/Descendents,Henry was the best front w/ SOA,they were not at their best w/ BF.

Dez is on second guitar here, so I think that's Chuck on bass before he left. Nice footage.
they did Club Doobie in Haslett the same year I think...

that might have been, but I specifically remember filming this elsewhere (either Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo...).
