  • nice one bud...good vid

  • Mostly beacause of the whole they take the life out of thhe universe

and both races tbh have goals that are quite alike,

also the new ctan god (the outsider) suggests that he is OUTSIDE something,

And the nids are out side the galaxy

also apparently the said god can make you go insane on contact

psykers have tried to tap into the hive mind and most either died or went insane...

Hence theroies that the nids are just enougher way for the ctan to get the life force from the galaxies

  • @40kfordummies well....i don usually play word games like this :-)...I just dont think that C tan has anything to do with the Hive Mind just because of the sheer size of gap between robot stuff and biological stuff these two races represent :-)...btw...how did it came to your mind that they are the same? :-)

  • @Zahradkar1

ah but the wording is important in that as....

it gose avoid conflict with the necrons of solemnance, THEN they were unable to find other nutrient rich prey worlds

hence avoiding the necrons first before thinking about food

Why would a tyranid hive fleet avoid a necron tomb world

yes there may not be food on the said planet but the fact they made MAJOR course dirrections said they were in a hurry to scidadle...

    running away maybe?

Old god ashamed of what he did (outsider)

  • Thats for the quote...and thats it...so in the light of this quote from the codex and what is known about the nature of Necrons i think it should be clear why they did not attack Necrons...It would be like if we, humans, tried to eat rocks :-)

  • @40kfordummies hmm...i thought about it even checked the codex....it goes like this : `SOLEMNANCE` Necron Tomb World: Two minor tendrils of Hive Fleet Behemonth make major course corrections in order to avoid conflict with Necrons of Solemnance. Unable to find other nutrient-rich prey worlds in the immediate vicinity, these tendrils lapse into state of hibernation`

  • @Zahradkar1 ah but...

its not that they avoided the planet...

    They avoided the entire sector!

full of ripe planets and those to strains / tenticals / movements died out rather than go to that sector....

    Weird?

    I THINK SO :D

  • @Zahradkar1 yeah

but the idea of hive mind ctan is cool XD
