On the 30th of September 2007, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens sat down for a first-of-its-kind, unmoderated 2-hour discussion, convened by RDFRS and filmed by Josh Timonen.
All four authors have recently received a large amount of media attention for their writings against religion - some positive, and some negative. In this conversation the group trades stories of the public's reaction to their recent books, their unexpected successes, criticisms and common misrepresentations. They discuss the tough questions about religion that face to world today, and propose new strategies for going forward.

Link? Dennett comes off as very friendly to me. I'd imagine he's being disdainful over offensive, if he thinks people praying for his health is a waste of time then he's naturally going to say that. Intentionally insulting them at the same time would be disappointing.
As for the four _always_ using mockery, I disagree (I suspect this is going to depend on our definition of it). They make arguments in their books and criticise, I'm sure that's very different to vitriolic ranting on Youtube.
"Once you have given up the ghost, everything follows with dead certainty, even in the midst of chaos. From the beginning it was never anything but chaos: it was a fluid which enveloped me, which I breathed in through the gills. In the substrata, where the moon shone steady and opaque, it was smooth and fecundating; above it was a jangle and a discord." -- Henry Miller, "Tropic of Capricorn"
What did you hope to achieve with that non-comment? It's the equivalent of a child putting his fingers in his ears and saying "la la la can't hear you".
militant athiest, thats funny, let me guess next youre gonna say that atheist are preaching no god everywhere and that youre the victim of opression. when you see a athiest missonary building on every other corner like churches then you can play the victim. till then grow up and as to morals, ive been told that because i dont follow the bible im immoral so dont play that angle either.
Hey, we can't really be dumb if we're just following god's orders Well let's get serious, god knows what he's doin' He wrote this book here and the book says, "He made us all to be just like him" So, if we're dumb, then god is dumb and maybe even a little ugly on the side
Personally I find it a bit rich that Dennet feels agrieved at being hammered by believers that were rude and insulting. The YouTube circle of militant atheists of which there are many, base the whole of their argument on mockery and insults, you only need to check the comments page on Pat Condells channel to verify that. I can understand their frustration when members of the God squad constantly bombard them with scripture, but denegrating people is counter productive.
I'm not sure why you find that rich, as Dennet himself isn't posting such tirades on here (Presumably :). Anyone who can't hold a proper logical and rational argument for their belief or disbelief shouldn't be watching this video, as I believe all four men do so here and elsewhere.

makes a good point as to why the U.S.
shouldn't naturalize British subjects.
