@disandthat I don't follow the God channel or any other religious tv programme, sorry, you have the wrong person. Regarding what I've said, I don't care if they are 4 nursery school workers discussing the rota, I stick by my comments.
Common sense? No son, it was common ego's being gratified. 'Puffed up' one's at that....

@wey2xplusottjust4U Yep, what you're seeing here happens every Sunday, in fact every day, on Televisions in America, except that it's the Reverends, the Priests and Pastors who are given air time on TV & the radio. So what if 4 atheists got together and discuss common sense.

@SeedsOfHatred Being a Philosophy Major myself, I prefer Harris and Dennet

...an agreement of minds in a soup of intellectual ego dressing......

Amazing minds, thanks for uploading!
The 4 Horsemen:
Dawkins: The Evolutionary one
Harris: The Theologically-savy one
Hitchens: The Muscle
Dennett: The Philosophical one
R.I.P Hitchens. We've lost the muscle, but I'm confident someone will step up to the task.

At around 5:30, Harris points out that physicists aren't offended at rational criticism; after all, that's how we make progress toward truth in the secular world. Why are religious practitioners so easily offended?
It's difficult to avoid concluding that religion is not engaged in an authentic search for truth but in a reinforcement of beliefs whether they happen to be factually true or not. That's why in debate we see people asserting "I BELIEVE X", as if that was sufficient justification.
