I get many questions about candy melting wafers and how to melt them, here is a step-by-step demonstration of some candies I have made for Max's class.
Candy melting wafers are usually found under the brand names "Merckens" and "Wilton" they can be purchased at craft stores and on-line.
The completed candies should be stored at room temperature, if you store them in the fridge you will get condensation on the outside of the candy and the shiny exterior will be spotty. Make sure the candies are at room temperature before putting them in the little bags to avoid condensation in the bag.
These need to be stored in areas that are under 80F
