What I found is that when your opponent hits a short shot down either line, and you're coming up, as you did when it was on your BH, DON"T go crosscourt if you want to come to net. It takes too long, your opponent has a lot of time to set up the shot, and you have too much court to cover in order to get to a volley position. U get passed most of the time. Rather, go down the line, make the other dude move along the baseline to make the shot. He hit a very good FH to beat u.

@ripperduck Well, yeah, but that'd be more than a distraction. I'd just walk off the tennis court right then and there and see if she wanted to get a drink.  Doubtful, though, that a hot swedish chick would want to get a drink with me. If only I was taller and better looking! Damn! :-(

@hi10spro I gain knowledge from your serve and volley play . My forehand is sound , my 2 handed backhand could be better , my serve can range from 110,140 my second serve needs work , I once saw it was clocked at 81MPH and thats miserable I need a second serve like Roddick. Gary im 18 now and I dont whether to join ITF or not .Its just college and things holding me back , here in England there are academys but itts not like USA where you go to college and after that you become a pro .
