The first time I heard it. Even If I don' t understand the language. I found it beautiful and I had shivers . And at the end: I was like "WOW" !!!!!

@4mei77 Hello friend, I am in total agreement with you over Michael's way of singing. It can reach much, it simply can, just to let it to do so. Let me give you an idea of what is he singing about.
I'm only beginning to learn Lakota so I didn't get much, but this honour song is concerning Grandfather. What I could also understand a little was the spoken speech at the end, actually giving thanks for something (didn't get that) to Grandfather. Not much, but you have a clue at least.

Thanks a lot for putting this on the net. I really like Michael's ability to sing the way he does. He always puts so much emotion in his songs and though I don't understand Lakota his songs reach me to the bottom of my soul.

This is so precious to me to see; the gratefulness shown towards God/The Creator/Grandfather/The earth and so further, in such artless and humble, but powerful way at the same time, is healing to see. It is inspirational. It is never never-ending. It is of God.
