Fukuoka, Japan

On a shore visit from the cruise ship Costa Allegra to this beautiful island (Kyushu - Japan's third biggest) I filmed the town from Japan's second tallest tower and later wildlife in Ohori Park. The tower is 234 m high and has viewing platforms at 116m, 120m and 123m. The wedding was filmed from 123m, but some other shots are from 120m height because at 123m my tripod took up too much space.

They were just boys fishing and I drew their attention to my filming in a jocular way. They showed us their bait, and after we had passed they continued fishing. By the way, the beach is man-made.
