I been born and raised and the winters arent that bad... although you do get a kinda winter blues during the long winters if you cant afford to take a vacation or two during the winter to break it up a bit... not much sunshine and when it does its so cold you can't really soak it up... that and you dont feel so guilty if you stay in doors so much ahahha

I'm a Native Minnesotan and I've had many years to heed the advice "If you don't like the weather, move"...It's a real challenge this year...as I'm typing this, it's 1:17 a.m. Friday 1/21/11 and right around -11F...you really get used to it, so I stay...

Hazardous driving at home (MPLS) in the snow is better than the hazardous driving in Houston, Texas, where I now am living. The people here are maniacs who don't realize that other drivers on the road need to know what they're doing!
