Yes, it is ironic I have bad social anxiety considering I've helped over 100 patients get over theirs. Too bad a can't truly treat myself!

Ok, so the guy was totally not an assistant but a talented director. I'm able to only recognize about 6 famous people who are currently living especially when I've been awake and not wearing my glasses.

Let me get this straight. You put all of this in a video, subsequently put this on a public channel for the world to see...and you think you have bad social anxiety? I have to meet the first person that feels comfortable in a situation you described. You probably could not tell I feel that way on parties but I do too. Ad to that being alone with that gift. Kudos to you.

@PuppyZwolle Everyone's loving the fleshlight. That thing is so weird. I took it out of the casing to look at it, and it's even weirder that way. My hand felt so soft after touching it, though. It's heavy too!

I used to subconsciously squeeze my arm at social gatherings, but I started getting bruises there so I had to make myself aware of it. If I'm going to a place where no one knows anyone else I'm ok; we're all on equal ground. Otherwise, I try to avoid social gatherings.

Elijah Wood is a scary nemesis.... haven't you seen sin city?! Of course you stuck a finger in the flesh light.... what an odd thing to give out at a (non adult) film fest!

@UnityPhreak I Elijahed your mind, Adam. I had no idea how expensive those fleshlights are! Holy crap! Quality materials. It was a tie-in to one of the films being shown along with a vibrating bullet and lube. I think the bullet was a pity prize for we ladies of the audience so we didn't feel left out. It's in my nightstand.

Elijah Wood would have loved you(and your story). Maybe you should write him a letter with 'a link' to this video. With his sense of humor you probably will get a video response from him....Now THAT would confirm he's you Nemesis wouldn't it?

@PuppyZwolle It's a lot easier to do this than to actually talk to people face to face and interact with them. Plus, I'm considerably shorter than many people here and I only have about 40% the hearing of an average person, so it's hard to hear people unless I'm basically cheek to cheek with them. I'm often guessing what people are saying unless English isn't their first language. When that's the case, people usually are more aware of how they're speaking and are easier to understand.

@schatze78 I have mixed feelings on Jason Eisner a little. The reason for that is, as it turns out he teaches classes at my University. It's not that I've taken film production classes, but a few of my friends had. And the only reason they had took it was to learn from him, just to have him leave after two weeks to make his film. Any who, I think I'll try and make it next year to the BNAT.

@Yarrum13 The guy next to me who gave me his fleshlight, he's from Halifax. Jason Eisner was on his flight. He was saying when he saw him, he was thinking, "could he be here for BNAT? No! Yes?" He couldn't say who he saw on the plane so as to not ruin the surprise. No one knows what's going to be shown until it's being introduced just prior to its screening. People from all over the world come for BNAT. It's a beautiful thing. I feel like The Monarch when it comes to EW, but without gadgets :(
