Recorded live March 2007! The Bond Band is a 12 piece function & corporate band who perform ALL the music from the Bond films. This is one of the audio tracks not used in the live DVD we had made, as we could only have 16 tracks on the DVD.

Really awesome work here, I've loved this piece since high school, when I used to go to bed every night with the Bond soundtracks playing in my headphones.

Have you ever considered arranging other Barry music, especially from The Black Hole? There are several cues that are very much in the Moonraker vibe.

not really, as the reason for doing this was to create the bond band. this is a very commercial group, where as the music of barry on a wider scale is not. however, im a huge fan of his, and out of africa is one of my favourite film scores ever. thanks for the great comments!

Yes me too. Moonraker the movie might have been one of the less good Bonds but the music is first class. John Barry really outdid himself. This "flight into space" piece I play on my hifi system quite oftenly.

This truly satisfies the Bond musical addiction apart from just playing the CDs. You would surely make John Barry blush with flattery. I hope to see the Bond Band in the states if you ever decide to make a tour of the 007 music repertoire. Jolly good show!
